Where are you located?

Our workshop is located at 26 Moorhouse Avenue, Addington Christchurch (opposite Hagley Park). Our telephone number is 03 379 2826. We are operated by Signwise Christchurch (2012) Limited.

Are your signs suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, our prints are produced using 3M media and then a UV protective overlaminate is applied.
By default we use Aluminium Composite Material (“ACM”) for all our signs. Rigid PVC is commonly used by other manufacturers but the cost savings are not significant and it is far less durable than ACM – if Rigid PVC is specifically required just contact us to arrange a special order.

What is Aluminium Composite (“ACM”) ?

ACM is a widely used signage material – it offers excellent strength to weight characteristics and long lasting, outdoor grade performance.
ACM is made up of two thin aluminium sheets sandwiching a polyethylene core. ACM is available in a range of thicknesses – we typically use 4mm ACM as it is relatively rigid yet lightweight.
It is easy to drill holes in ACM for installation purposes.
Where your sign is to be installed to a post or where maximum strength is required, we recommend ACM over the less expensive Rigid PVC panel material option

What is Rigid PVC?

Rigid PVC is a widely used thermoplastic material, very commonly used for safety signs. It is a relatively affordable material with excellent chemical resistance properties.
It is not as durable as ACM but can nonetheless perform well, particularly where the sign is to be installed flat to a wall.

Are your signs reflective?

Our standard signs are not reflective – however we do offer reflective graphics as an option if required. Just tick the relevant box under Production Options to order your signs to be produced using reflective graphics.

Can I open a credit account?

For our online signage sales, we require payment at the time of order. If you are working on a large signage project or will be placing regular orders, please drop us a note to discuss. If you would like to pay on invoice rather than by credit card you can select this option in the Checkout.

How long does it take to ship my order?

We produce nearly all our products to order. For orders received by noon for which no customisations or other signoffs are required, we will normally ship within 2 business days. Courier timelines can be impacted by weather and other delays but delivery to major centres normally takes 2 business days. If you have a deadline for delivery of your sign, please let us know.

How can I install my signs?

Our signs are easy to install. You can order them with holes drilled in the corners for cable tie or screw fixings. You can also order your signs with double sided tape if you are installing to a flat smooth surface. You can also use a building adhesive for your installation – this is particularly applicable when applying to rough surfaces.

What are your freight charges?

We ship throughout New Zealand for $13.50 inc gst. We offer free freight on orders over $250. Customers are also welcome to collect their online orders from our Christchurch workshop.

Do you have a showroom where we can buy signs

We have some signs on display in our showroom at 26 Moorhouse Avenue Christchurch. To ensure availability of your specific sign, please order online prior to visiting us – you are welcome to collect your sign from our showroom. We will let you know as soon as it is available.

Can I have a GST invoice?

Yes – we will email you a Tax Invoice when you place your order.
